NBC had until Tuesday to give a full-season pickup to the time-travel drama starring Kevin McKidd. The network let that option lapse, practically canceling the series, which posted its lowest adults 18-49 rating (1.7 rating/8 share) on Monday without a "Heroes" lead-in. The network already tried out fellow rookie "Life" in "Journeyman"'s Monday 10 p.m. slot last week.Damn.
I put a lot of hours into watching this show. It was good stuff. It will be missed. I hope Kevin McKidd gets another gig.
There are still two new episodes left in the season.
I also saw a story where NBC had to refund money to advertisers for poor performance. This article states that it is the first time this has happened in history. I'm sure someone is going to blame piracy but the ratings is what got them. That and I'm extremely unhappy about NBC removing their shows from iTunes.

I really dont think they can claim piracy when they offer full episodes on there nbc.com/journeyman site
Lets face it this was a show that required the viewer to actually actively watch what is going on in the series, no network is going to get a show like this the time it needs, and this suck.
With NBC pulling out on the negotiations with Apple of fews for TV episodes it will only hurt them more. As for NBC's plans for doing their own download and watch their shows its going to die faster than the LZ 129 Hindenburg. Well maybe not that fast, pride before the fall. I figure NBC will have to be bought by someone because of the huge money issues they are suppose to be having before they close their online sales.
I was really into NBC/Universal as a company for the past couple of years. I hope you are wrong Michael. If NBC gets bought then there is no telling what will end up on the SciFi Channel.
My guess something that deals with a House where we get a bunch of people that have to do test and games to gain immunity so that they don't get voted out.
either that or a bunch of people that get dressed up in wacky outfits that have to duck it out to become the winner in an arena battlefield like place to get prizes and things.
Gee i hope they are not reading this, I would hate being the one to give them ideas from this.
